To request a withdrawal and/or a refund (if applicable), you must contact Baroody Camps at [email protected]After the registration period has closed, Baroody Camps cannot guarantee a full refund for any class(es).  If your child does not enjoy their program for any reason, a request to cancel may be made to [email protected] NO LATER than 48 hours after the second class date.  No refunds or credits will be issued after this deadline.  Some programs may require a return of equipment or supplies before a refund can be processed.
  • All refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis & must be discussed with Baroody Camps directly. The Bristow Run PTO is NOT responsible for issuing credits/cancellations for any of the classes.

Financial Aid

  • Limited financial aid opportunities are available for those who qualify.  Please indicate your request at the time of registration.  Kindly note: if approved and accepted into a class, financial aid is available for one class per child per session.

Arrivals to Afternoon Programs

  • Teachers will receive an electronic and paper copy list of their students participating in Enrichment programs. They are asked but NOT required to remind students attend their programs. Students should arrive to the CAFETERIA after school to meet their instructor and our On-Site Coordinator. We also ask parents to remind their children each morning.

  • Please also feel free to remind teachers and/or Extended Day Care staff that your child will be attending class.

Dismissals from Programs

  • The Instructor will receive information identifying the dismissal method for each child.  When class is over, the Instructor is responsible for dropping students off to where they need to go. The Instructor should then walk their remaining students to the Front Lobby and help ensure that the students get signed out by their adult. Instructors MUST have a signature for each of their students and MUST turn in their sign-in/sign-out sheets to the On-Site Coordinator before leaving for the day.  Instructors should escort students in SACC to SACC location and check in with an SACC Staff Member.  If the Instructor needs to leave before all children are picked up, the Instructor should ask the On-Site Coordinator to stay with any remaining child(ren).

Snacks & Allergies

  • Snacks will be permitted at the start of programs ONLY (during the first 5-10 minutes).  Parents are required to send NUT FREE snacks with their children. Please take special consideration for students with allergies in your class.

Standards of Behavior

  • We want to ensure that all students participating in the before and after-school enrichment programs enjoy the experience. In order for this to happen, it is expected that all students will conform to regular Bristow Run ES classroom and school rules and regulations while attending a program. The providers are all experienced Instructors and will use accepted classroom management techniques to allow misbehaving children to adjust. If a child continues to have difficulties, he or she will be removed from the class and be placed with the On-Site Programs Coordinator who will decide if and when to return the child to class that day. The On-Site Programs Coordinator will also inform the parents about the situation.
  • If a child is removed from a class a second time, that child will be withdrawn from that class for the remainder of the session. The School will be informed of this decision. No partial refunds will be given in these situations. We look to all parents to support our class providers so that all children can enjoy the after-school classes.

  • Certain behaviors will not be tolerated.  These behaviors may include, but are not limited to: consistent disruption in class; any inappropriate physical contact (i.e. hitting, kicking); blatant disrespect toward the Instructor or other students; a refusal to listen to Instructions; the use of inappropriate language; and/or destruction of property.
  • Here at Baroody Camps, we want to foster a learning environment where all students feel safe and secure. With this being said, any incidents of bullying including, but not limited to: name calling, assault of any kind, verbal and nonverbal threats, throwing objects, cornering other students and/or intimidating behaviors, taunting, discriminatory statements or behavior, or exclusion from activities will result in the first and only warning. After the first warning, any future behavioral issues will result in immediate removal from the class for the remainder of the session. Baroody Camps will not offer any partial refunds in these situations. Enforcement of this policy is at the discretion of Baroody Camps and their partners.
